Dr. Gitta Jacob

Ich bin 1973 geboren, also gerade 50 geworden – schon alt und noch jung genug, um das Leben in vollen Zügen zu genießen und zu gestalten.

Aufgewachsen bin ich in Kulmbach in Oberfranken, Psychologie studiert habe ich in Würzburg und im schönen Freiburg. Dort habe ich dann auch etwa 20 Jahre gelebt und gearbeitet – an der Uni, der Uniklinik und in eigener Privatpraxis.

Seit gut 10 Jahren lebe ich in Hamburg – schon seit der Jugend meine Traumstadt. Dort arbeite ich mit großer Begeisterung bei GAIA, wo ich therapeutische Online-Programme mitentwickeln und -erforschen darf. Denn dank Fachkräftemangel und langen Wartelisten kann längst nicht jeder die therapeutische Unterstützung bekommen, die er oder sie eigentlich bräuchte – Online-Unterstützung kann für die, die das mögen, rasche und kompetente Hilfe bieten. Schon immer habe ich Freude daran, meine Überlegungen, Ideen und Erkenntnisse zu teilen und unter die Leute zu bringen und schreibe deshalb seit Jahren Bücher (zum Teil übersetzt in über 20 Sprachen) und gebe Vorträge und Seminare.
